What is happening is that responsible legislation is sliding into regulatory zeal that does more harm than good. Děje se to, že z odpovědného zákonodárství se stává regulační horlivost, která přináší více škody než užitku. Unfortunately, this issue has not received adequate attention to date from EU institutions that often display excessive zeal in other matters. Této otázce bohužel nebyla až dosud věnována patřičná pozornost ze strany institucí EU, které často vykazují nadměrnou horlivost v jiných záležitostech. That is a very important matter and I hope it will be implemented with the same zeal with which we implement our own regulations affecting our own fishing communities. To je velice důležitá záležitost a doufám, že bude provedena se stejnou horlivostí, s jakou provádíme své vlastní předpisy týkající se našich vlastních rybolovných komunit.
